Cruz and went to workout and swim. Wow! It was packed at the gym. I guess it's part of the New Year's resolution. It's nice to see people with goal to be healthy..how long will it last? No worry for me on how long will I last since I've developed a routine and has been my lifestyle.
Today, all seemed to be so friendly with smiles on their face. Love it! This year I will ovoid grumpy people, people who are argumentative and cause dissension, and foolish individuals...foolish I mean people who are short-tempered and act instinctively (those who act in a snap before the brain thinks).
My swim and workout were at its best...as always! I got so much stored energy from yesterday's New Year's food in mom's kitchen during the New Year gathering. Glad to see all there including my brother whom I last saw more than a year ago. I always have a euphoric feeling..meaning feeling good and calm after each workout. I know the principle of "effortless exercise" is working for me. Gotta feel good after each workout and feeling ready for the next workout and swim.
Today I purchased my airline ticket to Kathmandu, Nepal. I'm excited and will be in transit Hong Kong. It's a plus to see and experience Hong Kong in this trip this coming spring break in April 16-24, 2011. Wow! Since November 2010, I've been to 3 different countries (Costa Rica, Colombia and Panama). I love being a bachelor and I thank my Lord for giving me this ability to travel without getting in debt. I work, save and travel. Jeah!
What a good sign of blessings I had today! I spent the $50.00 gift card I got from Wells Fargo plus the $12.00 rewards from CVS pharmacy from all the accumulated points I earned as well as the discount coupons! I'm stocked up with my basic needs including power bars...hehehehe. These are blessings!
I'm in Capitola Book Cafe while writing this blog. I love this bookshop! It's stylish and quiet. There is no book presentation tonight. I continued reading Charles Stanley's Surviving In An Angry World in my iBook. This struck me:
"Where you will be tomorrow will be a consequence of what you say and do today as well as how you internalize what others around you say and do."
This phrase from his book is so true and so powerful to me. It's timely to reflect on this this New Year!
I will take things slow...I'm still on vacation. It's only Jan 2 and work starts on the 10th. Jeah!
Again, Happy New Year to all!
Ciao!
